Thermo Fisher Scientific - A company that doesn't Finance United States The Fisher Scientfic part of Thermo Fisher Scientific is the worst company ever for employees. Employees are treated like slaves and worked long hours - 11-12 hour days, work on the weekends. There is constant turnover here and frequent management turnover, firings, and reorganizations. The raises are less that inflation - 2.5% for an exceeds expectations review. There is no room for growth and advancement here and they frequently lay people off - every two years, they "trim the heard". Or if there is a project that goes away, everybody on that project is let go. The company refuses to invest in technology or other upgrades that will help us compete in the future. The old technology means that we have to log in long hours because the systems are so slow. Need I say more?
